Job summary

Right At Home South Columbus Metro in Logan, OH is seeking a Caregiver / Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide compassionate, non-medical in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities. You will help clients stay independent by assisting with daily living activities with respect and personalization.

The role offers flexible scheduling (full-time & part-time), paid training, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Current auto insurance (if transporting clients).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers when necessary.
• Previous caregiving, home health, assisted living, or nursing home experience preferred but not required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, Toileting, Mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration unless authorized).
• Escort clients to appointments and errands.
• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Follow all company policies, HIPAA regulations, and client care plans.
• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
