Job summary

Right At Home Logan, OH is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities, helping maintain independence in their own homes.

You'll perform ADLs, offer friendly support, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation help, and document services while following care plans and HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Current auto insurance (if transporting clients).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers when necessary.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration unless authorized).
• Escort clients to appointments and errands.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Follow all policies, HIPAA regulations, and client care plans.
• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
