Right At Home – Pickerington, OH is seeking caring individuals to join our team as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide (HHA). Provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities in client homes throughout the Columbus area, helping maintain independence with daily living activities and personalized care.

The role offers starting pay at $15.00 per hour, flexible scheduling (Full-Time & Part-Time), paid training, overtime, holiday pay, mileage reimbursement, weekly

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry and linen changes.
• Provide medication reminders (no administration unless authorized).
• Escort clients to appointments and errands.
• Monitor and report changes in a client’s condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Position Summary

As a Caregiver, you will provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities. You'll help clients maintain their independence by assisting with daily living activities while delivering compassionate, respectful, and personalized care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

  • Bathing

  • Dressing

  • Grooming

  • Toileting

  • Mobility and transfers

• Provide companionship and emotional support.

• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.

• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.

• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration unless authorized).

• Escort clients to appointments and errands.

• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition.

• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

• Follow all company policies, HIPAA regulations, and client care plans.

• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

• Current auto insurance (if transporting clients).

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers when necessary.

• Previous caregiving, home health, assisted living, or nursing home experience is preferred but not required.

• CPR and First Aid Certification are a plus.
