Job summary

Right At Home – Groveport, OH is seeking a compassionate in-home caregiver for dayshift coverage. You'll provide non-medical care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities in clients' homes, helping with daily living activities and ensuring safety and comfort.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with flexible Full-Time & Part-Time schedules, paid training, overtime, holiday pay, mileage reimbursement, weekly pay, and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, professional attitude.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Provide medication reminders (not administer).
• Escort clients to appointments and errands.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' condition.
• Maintain documentation and follow care plans.

Position Summary

As a Caregiver, you will provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities. You'll help clients maintain their independence by assisting with daily living activities while delivering compassionate, respectful, and personalized care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
  • Bathing
  • Dressing
  • Grooming
  • Toileting
  • Mobility and transfers
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration unless authorized).
• Escort clients to appointments and errands.
• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Follow all company policies, HIPAA regulations, and client care plans.
• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Current auto insurance (if transporting clients).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers when necessary.
• Previous caregiving, home health, assisted living, or nursing home experience is preferred but not required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification are a plus.
