Job summary

Right At Home – Pickerington, OH is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities. You’ll support independence and assist with daily living activities in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Current auto insurance if transporting clients.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers.
• Experience in caregiving, home health, or related fields preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Provide medication reminders (no administration) and escort to appointments.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition; maintain records.
• Follow HIPAA and client care plans; promote a safe home environment.

Position Summary

As a Caregiver, you will provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities. You'll help clients maintain their independence by assisting with daily living activities while delivering compassionate, respectful, and personalized care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

  • Bathing

  • Dressing

  • Grooming

  • Toileting

  • Mobility and transfers

• Provide companionship and emotional support.

• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.

• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.

• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration unless authorized).

• Escort clients to appointments and errands.

• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition.

• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

• Follow all company policies, HIPAA regulations, and client care plans.

• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
