Job summary

Mennonite Village in Albany, Oregon, seeks a compassionate Caregiver to join our Memory Care team on Swing Shift. You will provide hands-on care and companionship, helping residents feel safe, valued, and engaged throughout daily routines.

Work with a supportive team in a mission-driven environment that values dignity, respect, and person-centered care. Requirements include patience, empathy, and ability to document daily living activities; apply within.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Be knowledgeable and adhere to a resident's service plans.
• Maintains residents' dignity by providing privacy and confidentiality.
• Effectively engage and communicate with elderly individuals.
• Exhibit patience, tact, and willingness to handle challenging situations.
• Foster positivity and actively engage in daily problem-solving.
• Ability to accurately document activities of daily living.
• Compassionate bedside manner and empathy toward residents.
• Must have Heimlich Maneuver training within the first 120 days.
• Understanding of and commitment to residents rights and dignity.
• First aid certification and Food handler's card within first 120 days of employment.

Pay range, depending on experience: $17.00 to $21.50 per hour
