Job description

Are you compassionate, detail-oriented, and motivated by meaningful work?

Do you find purpose in supporting others, staying organized, and contributing to a care team that truly values residents' dignity and well‑being? Mennonite Village is seeking a Treatment Aide to support residents and clinical staff by providing essential treatments, monitoring health changes, and ensuring accurate documentation in our assisted living community.

In this important role, you'll help ensure residents receive timely, respectful care while supporting Team Leaders, Resident Assistants, and licensed nurses. If you're dependable, caring, and interested in growing your skills in a mission‑driven healthcare environment, we'd love to meet you.

Why Mennonite Village?

At Mennonite Village, relationships come first, starting with our team. You'll join a collaborative, values‑based organization dedicated to serving older adults with dignity, respect, and compassion. We believe every role matters, and we support our employees through training, teamwork, and opportunities to grow.

About the Role

The Treatment Aide supports quality resident care by completing delegated treatments, monitoring vital signs, responding to incidents, and maintaining accurate, confidential documentation. This role works within Oregon Assisted Living regulations and does not replace licensed nursing care, but plays a vital part in communication, coordination, and daily resident well‑being.

What You'll Do
  • Administer delegated, non‑injectable treatments (such as topical creams and skin care) following resident service plans and licensed nurse direction
  • Obtain and document routine vital signs accurately and on time
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to licensed staff
  • Respond to resident falls, complete required documentation, and assist with follow‑up communication
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic treatment record (ETAR/TAR)
  • Transmit and route clinical documents using Kno2 fax systems
  • Assist with coordinating medical appointments, transportation, and treatment supplies
  • Maintain a clean, organized treatment cart and health room
  • Follow infection prevention practices and safety procedures
  • Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and team members
  • Participate in training, meetings, and ongoing skill development
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings heart, reliability, and attention to detail to their work. The ideal candidate is compassionate, observant, and calm under pressure, with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork. If you value meaningful work and take pride in supporting residents and colleagues, you'll feel right at home here.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Commitment to resident rights and dignity
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Comfort using electronic documentation systems
  • Heimlich maneuver training (required)
  • First Aid certification within 120 days of hire
  • Oregon CNA 1 or Certified Medication Aide preferred
  • Willingness to complete all required training and competency validations

Prior experience in senior living or healthcare is helpful but not required-we'll train the right person.

Pay Range is $20.50 to $28.75 depending on experience.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and holidays
  • Retirement savings plan with company contributions or matching
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Professional development opportunities, including training, certifications, and conferences
  • Employee wellness programs
  • Employee recognition programs and team celebrations
