Oceanside Senior Living in Oceanside, CA is seeking Caregivers and Med Techs to join our Care Team. This full-time role focuses on compassionate daily resident care and accurate care documentation.

****__We're looking for Caregivers & Med techs to join our Care Team!

**** Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement daily care and activities for residents based on service plans within legal and professional boundaries.


• Respond promptly to resident needs and community alarms, promoting resident independence and rapport.


• Maintain accurate care records, conduct safety checks, and communicate resident status effectively between shifts.


• Report changes in resident conditions promptly, follow safety protocols, and ensure a clean and safe environment.


• Address residents' behavioral and psychosocial needs while respecting their rights and promoting independence.\\

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed


• Ensure clients receive their medication on time


• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.


• Assist in meal preparation/presentation, serving to residents, and other dining related responsibilities, record and report changes in resident's eating habits to the supervisor.


• Record and report changes in resident's condition to the supervisor including but not limited to changes in resident's ability to perform activities of daily living, skin changes, bruising, etc.


• Daily follow up on bath schedules and vital signs (blood pressure, weight, and respiration, etc.)


• Immediately report all incidents or accident involving residents to the Resident


• Follow proper procedures in emergency situations and respond promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance, including emergency pull cords, telephone calls, and requests from family and friends.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience (preferred).


• Possess or be able to obtain valid CPR certification.


• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to speak, read, and understand English.

• Maintain a positive and compassionate attitude.


• Well-organized and reliable.


• Physical stamina is necessary to perform job duties.

Work Schedule:

** Caregivers - $18.50 **

• 6:00am - 2:00pm ** __**


• 2:00pm - 10:00pm


• 10:00pm - 6:00am

_ Medication Technicians_ $19.00

• 6:00am - 2:00pm


• 2:00pm - 10:00p
