Job summary

Springtree Senior Living is seeking Med Techs to join our care team in New York. You will assist residents with daily living activities, grooming, and meals, and ensure medications are provided on time.

Requirements include 1 year of Med Tech experience, CPR certification, and English proficiency. We value a compassionate, reliable attitude, strong communication, and physical stamina. Shift: 6:00am–2:30pm; every other weekend; EEO employer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living including grooming, bathing, and transfers.
• Ensure residents receive medications on time.
• Assist in meal preparation and dining, report changes in eating habits.
• Record and report changes in residents' conditions to the supervisor.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Report incidents or accidents promptly.
• Follow safety procedures and respond to resident requests.

Job description

We’re looking for Med Techs to join our Care team!

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed
• Ensure clients receive their medication on time
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.
• Assist in meal preparation/presentation, serving to resident, and other dining related responsibilities, record and report changes in resident's eating habits to the supervisor.
• Record and report changes in resident's condition to the supervisor including but not limited to changes in resident's ability to perform activities of daily living, skin changes, bruising, etc.
• Daily follow up on bath schedules and vital signs (blood pressure, weight, and respiration, etc.)
• Immediately report all incidents or accident involving residents to the Resident
• Follow proper procedures in emergency situations and respond promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance, including emergency pull cords, telephone calls, and requests from family and friends.
