Job summary

Visiting Angels Greenville & Anderson, SC seeks compassionate in-home caregivers to support seniors in daily living tasks within clients' homes. Flexible scheduling includes 4-hour and longer shifts, with part-time or full-time opportunities depending on client needs.

Responsibilities include mobility assistance, medication reminders, personal care, meal preparation, errands, light housekeeping, and companionship. Prior caregiver experience and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with vehicle and current insurance.
• Flexibility with client schedules.
• One year in-home caregiver experience preferred.

Job Description

You will be responsible for an individual’s safety and well‑being to provide supportive non‑clinical care. Schedules may vary from 4‑hour shifts and beyond as we do care for some clients 24/7. Scheduling is flexible to either part time, full time, or as available. We are seeking adaptable, compassionate, honest, in‑home caregivers to provide the best care possible to seniors as well as others who need in‑home care.

Requirements

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required and current, up‑to‑date insurance
• Must adhere to plans of care for client
• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
• One year of in‑home, caregiver experience preferred
• Must have good communication skills, have active listening, between clients/families and staff
• Must be able to be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status

• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

Compensation

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
