Job summary

Home Instead in Omaha is seeking caregivers who can support seniors with daily needs and build meaningful relationships. Immediate openings offer flexibility for students, family, or another job, with urgent hiring for qualified caregivers who have reliable transportation to serve clients across the Omaha area.

You’ll be paid $16.25–$17.25/hour with weekly pay and direct deposit, plus a modern benefits package including sick leave, training, holidays at 1.5x, mileage reimbursement, and 401k

Qualifications

• 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) or CNA/HHA/LVN/LPN/RN.
• Reliable transportation to and from clients; drivers preferred but not required.
• Willing to commit to at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s).
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities; bilinguals encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with clients through companionship and compassionate caregiving.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide personal care services including grooming, bathing, and continence management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR be a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN
• Have reliable transportation to and from clients (drivers preferred but not required)
• Willing and able to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s) to provide consistent care and build strong relationships
• Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)
• Complete any necessary compliance, license, or registration requirements
