Job summary

Home Instead in Pittsburgh is seeking compassionate Caregivers to assist seniors in their homes. You will drive to client homes; a valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle are required.

Pay starts at $15.00–$16.00 per hour with an extra $1 per hour for weekend visits, and potential to earn up to $18.00 per hour after the first 8 weeks. Weekly pay, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) match, paid holidays, and training are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum of three professional references.
• Willing to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client.
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills (bilingual candidates encouraged).
• Completion of any required compliance, license, or registration steps.

• Build meaningful relationships with seniors through companionship and care.
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Help with personal care as needed.
• Support clients in maintaining independence and dignity.

Pay & Benefits

• $15.00-16.00/hr, plus $1/hr for weekend visits*

• **To be considered for the wage increase, you must meet Honor's requirements as a driver (valid U.S. drivers' license and clean driving record), have more than 6 months of paid/professional caregiving experience, work 20 visits in your first 8 weeks of employment, and remain in good standing with Honor. The $18.00 is for select regions and applies to weekend shifts with high transfer clients
