Job summary

Home Instead in Pittsburgh area seeks a compassionate caregiver to assist seniors in their homes. You’ll build meaningful relationships, help with meals, light housekeeping, personal care, and support independence. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required as you travel between visits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Minimum of three professional references.
• Willing to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s).
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills; bilingual candidates encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with seniors through companionship and care.
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Help with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in maintaining independence and dignity.

You’ll be driving to client’s homes in the greater Pittsburgh area, so a valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle are required.

Pay & Benefits

• $15.00–$16.00/hr, plus $1/hr for weekend visits*
• Opportunity to earn up to $18.00/hr after your first 8 weeks**

**To be considered for the wage increase, you must meet Honor‘s requirements as a driver (valid U.S. drivers‘ license and clean driving record), have more than 6 months of paid/professional caregiving experience, work 20 visits in your first 8 weeks of employment, and remain in good standing with Honor. The $18.00 is for select regions and applies to weekend shifts with high transfer clients
