Job summary

Home Instead in the greater Pittsburgh area is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide companionship and essential home-care services to seniors, backed by training and support.

Youll be driving to clients' homes, so a valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle are required, with weekly pay and a $250 new hire bonus. Training, growth opportunities, and mileage reimbursement are included.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Minimum of three professional references.
• Willing to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s).
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills (bilingual encouraged).
• Completion of any required compliance, license, or registration steps.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with seniors through companionship and care.
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Help with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in maintaining independence and dignity.

Whether you’re experienced or brand new to professional home care, our team is here to help you every step of the way. You’ll be driving to client’s homes in the greater Pittsburgh area, so a valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle are required.

Pay & Benefits

• $15.00–$16.00/hr, plus $1/hr for weekend visits**
• Opportunity to earn up to $18.00/hr after your first 8 weeks***
• Weekly pay with direct deposit

*must be in good standing and worked a minimum of 16 visits in first 45 days

**Weekend visits start between Saturday 12:01AM and Sunday 11:59PM

***To be considered for the wage increase, you must meet Honor's requirements as a driver (valid U.S. drivers' license and clean driving record), have more than 6 months of paid/professional caregiving experience, work 20 visits in your first 8 weeks of employment, and remain in good standing with Honor. The $18.00 is for select regions and applies to weekend shifts with high transfer clients
