Job summary

Home Instead in the greater Pittsburgh area is seeking a caring, dependable Caregiver. You will provide companionship and personal care to seniors, helping with meals, light housekeeping, and errands while promoting independence and dignity.

Earn $15.00–$16.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 hourly for weekend visits, and potential increases to $18.00/hour after the first eight weeks. Weekly pay, benefits, flexible full-time or part-time shifts, and mileage reimbursement are available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required for client visits.
• Reliable transportation is needed to travel between client homes.
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with seniors through companionship and care.
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Help with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Whether you’re experienced or brand new to professional home care, our team is here to help you every step of the way. You’ll be driving to client’s homes in the greater Pittsburgh area, so a valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle are required.

Pay & Benefits

• $15.00–$16.00/hr, plus $1/hr for weekend visits**
• Opportunity to earn up to $18.00/hr after your first 8 weeks***
• Weekly pay with direct deposit

**Weekend visits start between Saturday 12:01AM and Sunday 11:59PM

***To be considered for the wage increase, you must meet Honor's requirements as a driver (valid U.S. drivers' license and clean driving record), have more than 6 months of paid/professional caregiving experience, work 20 visits in your first 8 weeks of employment, and remain in good standing with Honor. The $18.00 is for select regions and applies to weekend shifts with high transfer clients
