Job summary

Home Instead in McCandless, PA is seeking caregivers to provide companionship and in-home support to seniors in the greater Pittsburgh area. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required; you’ll travel to client homes and deliver care with dignity and respect.

We offer competitive pay $15.00–$16.00/hr with $1/hr additional for weekend visits, potential raise to $18.00/hr after 8 weeks, weekly pay, benefits, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum of three professional references.
• Willing to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client.
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills (bilingual candidates encouraged).
• Completion of any required compliance, license, or registration steps.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with seniors through companionship and care.
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Help with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in maintaining independence and dignity.

You’ll be driving to client’s homes in the greater Pittsburgh area, so a valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle are required.

• $15.00–$16.00/hr, plus $1/hr for weekend visits*
• Opportunity to earn up to $18.00/hr after your first 8 weeks**

**To be considered for the wage increase, you must meet Honor's requirements as a driver (valid U.S. drivers' license and clean driving record), have more than 6 months of paid/professional caregiving experience, work 20 visits in your first 8 weeks of employment, and remain in good standing with Honor. The $18.00 is for select regions and applies to weekend shifts with high transfer clients
