Job summary

Epic Healthcare in Chula Vista, CA is hiring a Caregiver to support residents with personal care and companionship. The role includes assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and providing meaningful activities to promote social interaction for seniors.

You will help with meal preparation, serving, and feeding as needed, while maintaining a clean living area and reporting changes to nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as caregiver or support staff is a plus.
• Incorporating Harm Reduction, Informed Trauma Training and De-escalation techniques.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals from diverse backgrounds, including the underserved population.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in working with seniors.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and required training.
