Caregivers Responsibilities (snapshot)

As a Caregiver, you will assist clients in daily activities as indicated by their care plan. Your role is vital in helping clients maintain independence. Training and tools, including ADL training, PPE, CPR, First Aid, and Dementia Training, are provided to ensure your success.

• Promote and understand the independent living philosophy.
• Complete competency exams after training and annually for recertification.
• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Perform instrumental activities of daily living as per the client’s Plan of Care.

Required Education And Experience

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Aide Certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Effective communication with Client Care Manager.
• Completion of Caregiver Orientation.
• Pass the post-orientation exam with at least 80%.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
