Caregivers Responsibilities (snapshot)

As a Caregiver, you will assist clients in daily activities as indicated by their care plan, supporting their independence. Training and tools, including ADL training, PPE, CPR, First Aid, and Dementia training, are provided for success.

• Demonstrate understanding of and encourage independent living.
• Complete competency exams after training and annually re-certify.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Perform instrumental activities of daily living per the Plan of Care.

Required Education and Experience

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Aide certification preferred, not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Complete Caregiver Orientation and pass post-orientation exam with 80% score.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
