Job summary

A leading non-profit organization is seeking Caregivers to assist clients with daily activities and support their independence. Caregivers Responsibilities (snapshot)

As a Caregiver, you will assist clients with daily activities as indicated by their care plan, supporting their independence. Training and tools, including ADL training, PPE access, CPR, First Aid, and Dementia Training, are provided to ensure success in your role.

  • Demonstrate understanding of and encourage the independent living philosophy.
  • Complete competency examinations after training and annually re-certify.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information per HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform instrumental activities of daily living according to the client’s Plan of Care.

Required Education And Experience

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Certified Nurse Aide Certification preferred but not required
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with Client Care Manager
  • Complete Caregiver Orientation and pass the post-orientation exam with at least 80% score
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
