Job summary

Home Instead is seeking a dedicated caregiver in Williamsburg, VA to provide compassionate in-home care and companionship to clients. The role offers steady hours, weekly pay, and benefits based on eligibility, with training and support from a collaborative team.

You'll assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, personal care, and use our mobile app to update client needs, schedule visits, and track earnings. A minimum of 6 months caregiving experience or certification is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR be a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN.
• Must have three professional references.
• Willing and able to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s) to provide consistent care.
• Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
• Complete any necessary compliance, license, or registration requirements.

• Foster relationships with clients through companionship and compassionate caregiving.
• Assist with meal preparation and perform light housekeeping duties.
• Provide personal care services, including assistance with grooming, bathing, restroom use, and managing incontinence.
