Job summary

InterimHealthCare is seeking a Caregiver/Home Care Aide in Truckee, CA. The role offers $19/hour, weekly pay and direct deposit, with 8-hour shifts and PRN options. No experience needed, but other healthcare experience is preferred, and a CA driver’s license and transportation are required.

You will provide personal care to seniors at home, assist with daily living activities, and help with mobility, reminders, and safety, while enjoying a supportive, family-like environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
• Clear Background Check & Drug Screen (We do not test for THC).
• Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support services to seniors living in their home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
