Interim HealthCare seeks a Home Care Aide to provide personal care for seniors at home in the Lakehead, Redding, and Shingletown areas. You will assist with daily activities, mobility, meals, and companionship, ensuring a safe home environment. This role emphasizes compassionate service and reliable transportation.

We offer 1:1 client ratios, potential for training/CEUs, and a schedule you can set. Applicants should have a high school diploma and a background check; driving is required in

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Six (6) months of healthcare experience preferred
• Clear Background Check & Drug Screen (THC not tested)
• Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
• Compassionate and helpful mindset with good communication; able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care and support to seniors at home
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals
• Assist with mobility, transferring and range-of-motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders and report concerns to supervisor
• Ensure a safe home environment and engage clients in activities they enjoy

Caregiver | Home Care Aide

$18.00/Hour

Work Location: Lakehead, Redding and Shingletown areas

As a Home Care Aide/Caregiver, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Home Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Clear Background Check & Drug Screen *We do not test for THC
• Valid CA driver's license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
