Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Home Care Aide in Shingletown, CA to assist seniors with daily activities and family-like support. You will deliver compassionate personal care in home settings, with 1:1 client ratios, and the chance to set your own schedule while earning weekly pay.

This role emphasizes safety, mobility assistance, and creating meaningful daily moments for clients, using online training and CEUs to build skills along the way.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
• Clear background check and drug screen (We do not test for THC).
• Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate, helpful, good communicator, able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation, companionship).
• Help with ambulation, transfers and ROM exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and report concerns to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe home environment and engage clients in activities.

Available Shifts: M-Th 9a-11a & Friday 9a-12p

As a Home Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Home Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Clear Background Check & Drug Screen *We do not test for THC
• Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
