Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Caregiver/Home Care Aide to support seniors in Shingletown, CA. You will provide personal care, help with daily activities, prepare meals, run errands, and offer companionship in a home setting.

This role features a competitive $18.00/hour wage, 1:1 aide-to-client ratios, and a flexible schedule with weekly pay. Training online and CEUs help you build skills while you work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months healthcare experience preferred.
• Background check & drug screen required (THC not tested).
• Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate and good communicator with ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support for seniors at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transferring and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and report concerns to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Engage clients in activities such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

Available Shifts: M-Th 9a-11a & Friday 9a-12p

As a Home Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home

A few must-haves for Home Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Clear Background Check & Drug Screen *We do not test for THC
• Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
