Interim HealthCare is seeking a Home Care Aide/Caregiver in Redding, CA. Earn $18.00 per hour with flexible schedule and weekly pay. The role includes helping seniors at home, medication reminders, and light housekeeping, with a focus on safety and compassionate care.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a background check, CA driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Rasmussen University tuition discount and online training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to help seniors live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and report any concerns to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe home environment with clear pathways.
• Engage clients with activities like puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.

As a Home Care Aide/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home

A few must-haves for Home Care Aides/Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Clear Background Check & Drug Screen *We do not test for THC
• Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
