Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Grass Valley and surrounding areas is seeking a caring caregiver to support seniors in their homes with personal care, meals, and companionship.

You will work in a 1:1 client-aide setting with flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and online training. A CA driver’s license and background check are required to join our family-like team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) is required.
• Six months of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.
• Background check & Drug Screen required; no THC testing mentioned.
• Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation needed.
• Compassionate, good communicator with ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support services to seniors living in their home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document conditions and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy.
