Job summary

Home Instead is seeking a dedicated Caregiver in Hayward, CA. You will work with a supportive team to provide compassionate senior care, with a focus on companionship and daily living assistance.

We offer weekly pay, benefits for eligible employees, paid training, and mileage reimbursement. You will use our mobile app for real-time updates and scheduling, and have opportunities to grow within the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) or credential (CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN).
• Willing and able to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client for consistency.
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities; bilingual/multilingual encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with clients through companionship and compassionate caregiving.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide personal care services including grooming, bathing, restroom use, and incontinence support.
• Dedicated 24/7 support from the team and real-time updates via the mobile app.
• Leverage caregiver tools for scheduling and earnings tracking.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR be a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN
