Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 in Northwest Indiana is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors at home. You will provide one-on-one, non-medical services that help clients age in place with empathy, safety, and respect.

This role offers flexible full- or part-time schedules, training and development opportunities, and a path for advancement, plus a positive team culture and reliable compensation. Responsibilities include social companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping,

Qualifications

• Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
• Proof of current, negative tuberculosis (TB) test
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus

• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Social companionship
