Job summary

Assistance Home Care is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate in-home support for seniors in the Greater St. Louis and Chicago areas. This role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours and weekly pay, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, and building strong relationships with clients and their families. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required, with a focus on safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Education: High school or equivalent.
• Experience: at least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with clients, families and care team.
• Provide personal care including bathing, showering, toileting, hygiene, and grooming.
• Learn and use transfer skills (stand-pivot transfers, Hoyer lifts, gait belts).
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation.
• Possess a reliable vehicle with active auto insurance and valid driver’s license.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs.
