Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Hoffman Estates is seeking caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care, following each client’s plan, assisting with daily activities, meals, mobility, and companionship to help maintain independence.

We value compassionate, reliable team members who communicate well, respect clients, and follow instructions. At least 1 year of caregiving experience is preferred; CPR/First Aid is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Work You'll Do

No two clients are exactly alike. Your schedule and responsibilities will depend on the individual care plan, but your day may include:

Experience

At least 1 year of caregiving experience is preferred.

Experience as a caregiver, CNA, HHA, private-duty caregiver, or home care professional is highly valued but not required.

You Must Have

• Personal Reliable transportation
• Valid driver\'s license
• Current auto insurance

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Schaumburg • Hoffman Estates • Palatine • Rolling Meadows • Elk Grove Village • Des Plaines • Park Ridge • Surrounding Areas

A note about location: The location listed with this position identifies one of the communities we serve. It does not represent the only area where you may work or necessarily our office location. Caregivers must be willing to travel to other communities within our service area when client assignments require it.

Commute Consideration: Our clients are located throughout the Northwest Suburbs, and caregivers are expected to travel to client locations. If you live 1 hour or more from our service area, please consider the commute carefully before applying, as the distance may not be a good fit for this position.
