Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide one-on-one, in-home support to clients, helping them remain safe and comfortable in their own homes.

No prior experience is required—we provide paid training and ongoing support for the right individual. Responsibilities include personal care, ADLs, light housekeeping, meals, mobility assistance, medication reminders, companionship, and transportation as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of professional home health or patient care experience is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable and compassionate with a desire to help others.
• Ability to travel to client homes as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting)
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Provide mobility assistance and transfers
• Offer medication reminders
• Assist with range-of-motion exercises
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Provide transportation to local appointments and errands
