Job summary

Omega Ray Healthcare Services in Philadelphia area is seeking caring Caregivers/Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide in-home support, companionship, and daily living assistance to clients who wish to maintain independence and comfort. You will work with clients on ADLs, mobility, safety, and health monitoring; training is provided, with flexible hours and opportunities to grow within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Home Health Aide certification preferred.
• Experience in caregiving or related field is a plus.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow detailed care plans and instructions.
• Proficiency in basic healthcare and safety protocols.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations.
• Pass background checks and meet state HHAs requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, enhancing social interaction and mental health.
• Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor and record client’s vital signs, health status, and behavior changes, reporting concerns to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with light housekeeping such as laundry and meal preparation.
• Engage clients in recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
• Foster effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure client safety and well-being.
