Job summary

FirstLight Home Care in Chardon, OH is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, one-on-one care in clients' homes across Chardon and surrounding Northeast Ohio communities. The role includes companionship, daily living assistance, and mobility support to help clients stay independent at home.

Positions are full-time or part-time with flexible day/evening/weekend shifts. Prior caregiving experience is welcome but not required; training is provided to ensure high-quality, respectful

Position Summary

As a Caregiver / Home Health Aide (HHA), you'll provide one-on-one, non-medical care for seniors and adults in their homes throughout Chardon and surrounding Northeast Ohio communities.

You'll assist clients with everyday tasks while offering companionship, encouragement, and compassionate support that allows them to remain safe, independent, and comfortable at home.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene

• Help with mobility, walking, and transfers

• Accompany clients on errands and appointments when appropriate
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Follow individualized care plans
• Promote client safety, dignity, and independence
• Build trusted relationships with clients and their families

Qualifications

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and daily activities

Experience is preferred but not required.
