Role Overview:

As a Compassionate Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Sylvania-Perrysburg, you will be responsible for providing high‑quality in‑home support to our clients. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and the leadership team to ensure that each client receives the compassionate care they deserve. With FirstLight Home Care you will have the flexibility to foster meaningful relationships that enrich lives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care and support to clients in their home environment.
2. Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients and their families.
3. Assist clients with daily activities, including meal preparation and medication reminders.
4. Report any changes in client condition to the team and suggest improvements to care plans.
5. Engage with clients to promote their well‑being and independence.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a desire to help others.
2. Previous experience in a caregiving role or similar field is preferred.
3. Strong communication skills, able to speak and understand English.
4. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings and evenings.

Preferred If You:

1. Have certifications such as CNA or HHA.
2. Possess training in CPR and First Aid.
3. Have experience with clients dealing with specific health issues.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is flexible and available Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on‑site at client locations with the greater Toledo, Ohio region.
