Job summary

FirstLight Home Care is seeking dedicated Caregiver/CNA in the Chardon, Ohio area for full- and part-time roles. You will provide compassionate, non-medical support to seniors and adults in their homes, helping with personal care, companionship, and daily activities.

Caregiver/CNA - I Full-Time and Part-Time I $16-$19 Per Hour I Mentor and Chardon and Surrounding Areas

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / CNA at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, non‑medical care to seniors and adults in the comfort of their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to support our clients in experiencing the quality of life they deserve. Whether you work full‑time or part‑time, you’ll contribute to creating meaningful connections and ensuring peace of mind for families.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
2. Providing companionship and social support to enhance client well‑being.
3. Preparing meals and assisting with household tasks as needed.
4. Transporting clients to appointments or social activities, maintaining client safety during travel.
5. Collaborate with the care team to ensure clients receive tailored care that meets their needs.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate approach to caregiving, with a strong desire to help others.
2. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or relevant caregiving experience.
3. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
4. Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to consistency in care.
5. Willingness to work at least 20 hours per week, with availability to assist clients on weekdays and weekends.

Bonus If You:

1. Have experience in a similar caregiving role.
2. Possess additional certifications related to home care or health services.
