Job summary

Senior Helpers of Burlington is seeking a caring caregiver to provide one-on-one in-home personal care, helping clients stay safe and independent in their own homes. This role offers a $19/hour wage, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional development, paid training, and advancement.

Ideal candidates have a CHHA license; CNA or PCA experience is a plus. You will engage clients, support daily living activities, and report progress and changes to families and supervisors.

Qualifications

• CHHA license required.
• CNA or PCA experience is a plus.
• You must enjoy helping others and be customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.
