Job summary

Senior Helpers of Burlington is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one personal care in clients' homes, helping them stay safe and independent. We match your area of expertise to the seniors you'll care for and offer a flexible schedule.

As a caregiver, you’ll engage clients, support daily living activities, report updates, and grow professionally through training and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• You are passionate about helping others.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with seniors and adapt to their needs.
• Reliable, compassionate and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients' favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

Education

CHHA License

CNA or PCA (optional)

Examples of Job Duties: What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.
