Job summary

Cascade Living in Washington is seeking a caring Caregiver to build meaningful relationships with residents by learning their personalities and preferences. You will help with daily life skills, maintain and update personal care plans, and support level-of-care adjustments as needed.

This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, day and night shifts, and a rotating schedule. You’ll join a team dedicated to wellness, compassionate service, and the dignity of every resident.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Reliable transportation and dependable.
• Positive attitude and the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents.
• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents, and their families.
• Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and staff.
• Assist residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities as indicated on their individual profile.
• Implement residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines.
• Blend a variety of multi-sensory experiences into the resident’s day.
• Work with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter.
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management.
• Promote the mission, values, and beliefs of Cascade Living.
