Job summary

Waneka Park Assisted Living is hiring a Caregiver to positively impact residents each day. You will work with a multidisciplinary health team under the guidance of the Health & Wellness Director, helping ensure residents' comfort, dignity, and well-being while contributing to their overall care plan.

This role supports a Wednesday to Friday schedule, 6pm–6am, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, paid leave, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification from recognized organizations.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and dressing.
• Support residents with stand-by assist transfers.
• Provide quality personal hygiene care to residents.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
• Observe and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing supervisor.
• Apply infection control principles consistently during all care activities.

You'll also serve as a positive representative of our facility's commitment to compassionate care.
