Job summary

Clarendale of Chandler is seeking an Arizona Certified Caregiver for a full-time role in Chandler. The position offers an hourly wage of $18.50 to $19.50 and requires state certification, CPR/First Aid, and a fingerprint clearance card. Weekend and holiday availability is welcome.

You will assist residents with daily personal care, meals, and activities while maintaining safety and high service standards in a resort-style senior living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Arizona state certification as Caregiver.
• 1–2 years in senior living care settings preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required or obtainable.
• Food Handler’s Card required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height/weight per policy.
• Assist residents at mealtimes and encourage eating.
• Document shift assignments; report if unable to complete to nursing supervisor.
• Communicate with residents, families, Department Heads and Director of Resident Services as needed.
• Provide planned activities and respond to call lights and emergencies promptly.

Who you are:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Current certification by the state of Arizona for Caregiving
• 1-2 years in senior living care settings with prior Caregiver experience preferred
• Able to obtain or have current CPR/First Aide certification
• Able to obtain or have Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Able to obtain or have Food Handler’s Card

Job Summary:
