Job summary

Clarendale of Chandler is seeking a Med Tech to join our senior living team. The role involves accurately administering medications, documenting care, and ensuring safety during medication delivery in a vibrant community.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic math skills and accurate documentation ability.
• Prior experience in senior care or assisted living.
• CPR/First Aid certification eligibility.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and Food Handler’s Card are preferred standards.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, administer, and chart oral, topical, and suppository medications.
• Ensure medications are administered as prescribed and follow proper protocols.
• Verify medication information against orders and labels for accuracy.
• Clearly identify residents before administering medications.
• Maintain proper documentation of medications and treatments provided.

Who you are

• Completion of a State-approved Caregivers Classs approve throught the NCIA Board.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Basic math skills and accurate documentation ability
• Prior experience in senior care or assisted living
• Able to obtain or have current CPR/First Aide certification
• Able to obtain or have Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Able to obtain or have Food Handler’s Card
• Valid TB Test
