You will work Sunday through Thursday (2:00pm – 10:00pm) and collaborate with a caring team to execute signature programs, assist with meals and mobility, and help residents stay engaged.

Job Description

Schedule: Full Time, Sunday - Thursday (2:00pm - 10:00pm)
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00/hr

Job Summary:

The Caregiver is a vital member of our community, dedicated to providing the highest degree of quality care and services. They assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), including but not limited to personal and dental hygiene, transportation to meals and activities, and bodily functions. Caregivers are responsible for delivering exceptional hands-on care while supporting the social and emotional well‑being of MBK residents with compassion and superior customer service, as outlined in each resident’s Individualized Service Plan, while prioritizing dignity, privacy, and safety in accordance with all policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responds to resident needs promptly and kindly while maintaining each resident’s independence, self-respect, personal dignity, safety, privacy, and confidentiality.
• At the start of each shift, read and validate understanding of shift reporting, new or updated residents’ Individualized Service Plan (ISP), and lifestyle surveys by initialing.
• Complete all resident assignments as directed in ISP during the work shift.
• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, hygiene (shaving, hair care, etc.), mealtime activities, bowel and bladder functions (assistance to bathroom, portable commodes, changing incontinency products, etc.), and participation in wellness programming.
• Perform regular resident safety checks; report changes in the resident’s condition, including but not limited to mental status, behavioral expression, skin condition, appetite, etc.
• Aid at mealtimes if needed, with selecting meals, serving, eating, clearing, and delivering room trays as needed or assigned.
• Provide safe transport for residents by assisting with transfers into and out of beds and wheelchairs, using proper lifting and transferring techniques, and escorting residents to and from all meals, wellness programs, or other destinations, as needed or requested.
• Respond to residents’ behavioral expressions with compassion; follow up as directed and according to policy.
• Complete resident program leadership and engagement assignments, encouraging participation and enjoyment.
• Complete all assigned housekeeping and laundry tasks for residents and the community, as required
