Job summary

MBK Senior Living in the United States is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and uphold our quality service standard. The role offers flexibility as either part-time or full-time, with a consistent schedule of 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and opportunities for growth.

As a caregiver you will read care plans, assist with bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, and daily tasks while documenting changes and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Nursing assistant certification preferred.
  • English language proficiency required.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Background clearance as required by government regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to resident needs promptly and kindly.
  • Read and follow care plans.
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, activity participation, and toileting.
  • Provide assistance at mealtimes.
  • Transport residents and assist with mobility as needed.
  • Chart and document care information and report changes.
  • Respond to resident alerts and emergencies.
  • Ensure resident safety and assist with safety drills.

Job Description

Full‑time: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Job Summary: The Caregiver assists residents with daily living activities to maintain their dignity and comfort while providing superior customer service in accordance with all policies and regulations.

Essential Responsibilities (Percentage of time)
  • Respond to resident needs promptly and kindly (50%)
  • Read and follow care plans (10%)
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, activity participation, and toileting (20%)
  • Provide assistance at mealtimes (3%)
  • Transport residents and assist with mobility as needed (3%)
  • Perform regular safety checks on residents (1%)
  • Encourage and assist residents in daily activities such as bed making and laundry (1%)
  • Invite and lead residents in meaningful activities (3%)
  • Clean, complete laundry, and assist with community duties (1%)
  • Manage oxygen equipment per MD orders (1%)
  • Chart and document care information and report changes (4%)
  • Respond to resident alerts and emergencies (3%)
  • Ensure resident safety and assist with safety drills (1%)
Non‑Essential Duties
  • Maintain a positive professional image and adhere to dress standards
  • Encourage teamwork and open communication with co‑workers and other departments
  • Manage time effectively to complete resident assignments
  • Demonstrate tact and friendliness with residents, families, and guests
  • Adhere to meal break and rest period policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership
Requirements
  • Age 18 or over with proper work authorization
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Nursing assistant certification preferred
  • Current first aid certification
  • Background clearance as required by government regulations
  • Recent TB test result within 6 months
  • Prior caregiving experience preferred (on‑the‑job training provided)
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals
  • Meet all state regulatory requirements
Physical Demands
  • Mobile and able to perform tasks such as kneeling, squatting, overhead reaching, and bending
  • Lift 40+ pounds and push 150 pounds unassisted
