Job summary

Right at Home UK is recruiting caregivers to provide non-medical home care for seniors, including personal care, meal prep, and companionship. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance are required, with shifts 3–5 hours across all days. Extensive training and a supportive team environment are offered.

Candidates should be able to lift and transfer clients, read and communicate in English, and pass a background check. TB test completion is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Must be able to pass a full employment background check.
• HCA Registration (We can assist at offer of employment).
• TB Skin test (within 90 days).

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities of daily living.
• Assist with Dressing/Grooming.
• Ambulation/Transfers (lift 50 lbs).
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany patient to errands or medical appointments.
• Performs light housekeeping activities.
• Medication reminders.
• Care of bed-bound clients.
• Use lifting equipment such as Gait Belts, Slide Boards and Hoyer Lifts.
• Provide Companionship.

A homecare aide provides for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. A homemaker/companion provide non-medical home care which include: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more!

We are hiring care providers who have the ALL skills and experience with:

Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board.

The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance.

Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and short shifts (3-5 hours)

Essential Responsibilities:

Performs personal care activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
Assist with Dressing/Grooming
