Job summary

Right at Home UK is seeking compassionate home care providers to support seniors in daily living at home in Fresno area. The role focuses on non-medical care, including personal care, companionship, and errands, with weekend shifts Fri-Sun and short 3-5 hour blocks.

You must have a valid driver’s license, access to your own vehicle, and be able to pass a background check. Training is provided and supportive leadership is available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Must be able to pass a full employment background check.
• HCA Registration (assistance available at offer).
• TB Skin test (blood tests not older than 90 days).

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities of daily living.
• Ambulation/Transfers (be able to lift 50 lbs).
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.
• Performs light housekeeping activities.
• Medication reminders.
• Care of bed-bound clients.
• Provide Companionship.

A homemaker/companion provide non-medical home care which include: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more!

The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance.

This Job post is specifically hiring for weekend shifts Friday - Sunday
Short Shifts between the hours of 7:00 am and 9:00 pm ( 3-5 hour shifts ) and 3:00 pm-11:00 pm

Essential Responsibilities:

Performs personal care activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
Assist with Dressing/Grooming

Ambulation/Transfers (be able to lift 50 lbs)

Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions

Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments

Performs light housekeeping activities

Use lifting equipment such as Gait Belts, Slide Boards and Hoyer Lifts

Provide Companionship
