Job summary

Right at Home is seeking caring individuals to provide non-medical home care services to clients in Fresno, CA. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship to help clients stay independent at home.

Requirements include being 18+, English proficiency, a valid driver’s license with car insurance, and the ability to pass a background check. Training and orientation are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check.
• HCA Registration (We can assist at offer of employment).
• TB Skin test (can accept completed TB test not older than 90 days).

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities of daily living including dressing/grooming.
• Assist with Ambulation/Transfers (lift up to 50 lbs).
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments.
• Performs light housekeeping activities.
• Medication reminders.
• Care of bed-bound clients.
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts, slide boards and hoyer lifts.
• Provide companionship.

A homecare aide provides for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. A homemaker/companion provide non-medical home care which include: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more!

We are hiring care providers who have ALL the skills and experience with:

Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board.

The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance.

Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and short shifts (3-5 hours)
