Job summary

Actikare Responsive In Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers, CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants), or HCAs (Home Care Aides) to join our team in South Seattle. Weekend shifts are available, with 4-hour shifts and a licensed and insured driver required. Other shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington or proof of enrollment in training program.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English.
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory).
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Compensation and Benefits:

Caregiver / Home Care Aid (HCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:
