Job summary

HIRING IMMEDIATELY! Compassionate caregivers for weekday shifts in Seattle. Must be a licensed and insured driver. Actikare is seeking CNAs or HCAs with in‑home senior care experience to join our award‑winning team.

As part of Actikare, you will provide companionship, assist with ambulation, personal care, and light housekeeping, and report any incidents to the agency and family. We offer flexible hours, health/vision/dental insurance, PTO and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or HCA certification for Washington state required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass background checks.
• US work authorization and ability to read/write in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and daily living tasks.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Report incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Actikare Responsive In Home Care is actively seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers, CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants), or HCAs (Home Care Aides) with experience caring for seniors to join our award-winning team. Caregiver Compensation and Benefits

Caregiver / Home Care Aid (HCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements

• ActiveCNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington - or proof of completion or current enrollment in training program
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
