Job summary

Senior Helpers of West Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties is urgently seeking dependable caregivers who show up on time and provide compassionate care. Immediate openings for weekday and weekend coverage with flexible shifts and a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Pay rate ranges from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, with premiums for holidays, weekends and evenings. Experience is a plus, but training is provided to ensure you succeed in delivering high-quality in-home care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening.
• Caregiving experience is a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor for changes.
• Help with meal prep and light housekeeping.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Communicate effectively with clients and office staff.
• Accurately document care and report condition changes.
